Announcing New Dates + A New Venue
4 - 7 August 2011 at the Viaduct Events Centre

‘Recycled Rabbits

At last we can reveal our plans! Auckland Art Fair is thrilled to be the first major event in the brand new Viaduct Events Centre, a purpose built venue that offers 6000 square meters of exhibition and hospitality space located right on the Auckland’s harbour front in the CBD (approximately 200 meters from the former art fair site).

We’ve extended the fair by a day and it will now open on Wednesday 3 August with a fabulous Vernissage. The following four public days will feature exhibitions by Australasia’s leading galleries and artists; an international keynote speaker; expanded public lectures; guided tours and artist floor talks; project spaces and a collectors programme.

Auckland Art Fair will be inviting exhibitor submissions and announcing our 2011 partnerships in September.

In the meantime, the Melbourne Art Fair is where it’s all happening in August. A trio of NZ exhibitors will form the Kiwi contingent this year: Tim Melville, Jensen and OREXART as well as K Road’s Artspace, join a fantastic line up of galleries and artists from around the globe.

Hope to see you there!
